What to expect:
Although unlikely with facial massage alone, you may experience tingling and stinging in the treatment area. These sensations generally subside within a few hours. Your skin may experience temporary irritation, tightness, or redness. These are all normal reactions that typically resolve within 72 hours depending on skin sensitivity. Client experiences may vary. Some clients may experience a delayed onset of these symptoms. Please let your skin professional know if you notice any signs of reaction during your treatment.
You will likely see results immediately after treatment and your skin may feel smooth and hydrated for one to four weeks with appropriate home care to maintain treatment results.
The skin can be more susceptible to sunburn/sun damage depending on the products used. Therefore, please avoid the use of sunbeds for a minimum of 72 hours prior to your facial appointment and 72 hours after. We strongly recommend discontinuing the use of sunbeds due to skin damage. We advise using a minimum of 40 SPF sunscreen daily and avoid excessive sun exposure.
We recommend not applying make-up for the remainder of the day following your treatment, to allow full absorption of the products applied and to allow your skin to settle post treatment.
Due to the sensitivity caused by the following, we advise avoiding the use of aggressive exfoliation, waxing, and products containing glycolic acids or retinol that are not part of the recommended take-home regimen in the treated areas for a minimum of 72 hours pre treatment.
Please make sure if you have had aesthetic fillers, injectables or laser treatments that you leave 2 weeks before you appointment at Nuakh Studio. Please follow the advice of your skincare specialist for these procedures as they may recommend longer. This is so that our treatments do not interfere with you other facial treatments.
